Gabriela Baez has over eight years of experience teaching and volunteering at different schools and non-profits in NYC. She loves being able to give back to the neighborhoods she grew up in including Crown Heights and Midwood. She has taught private guitar and bass lessons with Gowanus Music Club in Brooklyn and music production with viBe Theater Experience. She also taught electronic music and music technology with the non-profit Sonic Arts For All! for over four years. Gabriela follows Sonic Arts For All's non-traditional approach to teaching music as an alternative and fun way to teach and help her students create music. Most recently, she taught “Podcasting 101” to high school students at Sound Thinking NYC. As Teaching Artist, she explained how podcasts are made from top to bottom and how each role (producer, editor, audio engineer, and digital marketer) play a crucial role in the success of each episode.
